Course Description

AMMO-II Batch Processing

Duration: 1 day
This course covers the batch processes of AMMO-II: how to archive data into AMMO-II, migrate data to a Storage Machine, and customize JCL job streams to perform AMMO-II maintenance and control functions.

Prerequisites: AMMO-II for End User AMMO-II, On-Line System Administration

Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course the students will:

• Understand the structure of the VSAM files utilized by AMMO-II
• Understand maintenance functions performed by batch jobs
• Learn the basic modification requirements of the JCL
• Identify specific JCL parameters requiring modifications
• Plan and set up the AMMO-II daily processing cycle
