This course explains the C language API function calls that enable an
application program to read from and write to non-relational files stored
on StorHouse (or Storage Machine). It covers sequential and VRAM (Virtual
Record Access Manager) file processing. Course material includes a Programmer's
Guide containing examples of the functions.

Objectives:
Upon completion of this course the students will:
Identify the components of the StorHouse host software interface
Understand
the functionality of the LSMCALL function
Establish
a session link between an application and StorHouse
Open
and close and transfer files or records with a program
Retrieve
text messages with the EMSG function
Execute
SM administrative commands from a program
Calculate
sizes of files to be stored on StorHouse
