This course explains the sub-routine calls that enable an application
program to read from and write to non-relational files in StorHouse (or
the Storage Machine). It covers sequential and VRAM (Virtual Record Access
Manager) file processing. Course material includes a Programmer's Guide
containing examples of the function call statements.

Objectives:
Upon completion of this course the students will:
Identify the components of the StorHouse (or Storage Machine) host software
Identify
the Callable Interface software
Understand
the functionality of the LSMCALL statement
Establish a session link between an application and StorHouse (or Storage
Machine)
Open and close and transfer files or records with a program
Retrieve
text messages with the EMSG function
Execute
administrative command from within a program
Calculate
sizes of files to be stored within StorHouse (or the Storage Machine)
