Technical Overview
SAP BW maintains virtual entries for StorHouse tables. These entries enable users to access StorHouse data without first reloading it to SAP BW ODS objects. Users can list data and create reports via remote cubes or directly from the StorHouse ODS-extension. They can also select data from StorHouse via SAP BW and load it into a new SAP BW data mart using Export DataSource™.

Figure 1 illustrates different methods for accessing SAP BW data on StorHouse.

The bottom line is a complete, action-oriented solution that enables SAP BW installations to keep near-line data highly available and accessible to business forecasters for query and analysis.
