How StorHouse Works
StorHouse manages all seismic data - including metadata, CDP, shot point, and trace data attributes - in a relational format. It supports direct, row-level, SQL access to this data from a blend of economical alternative storage media such as inexpensive disks, optical, or tape. StorHouse keeps the frequently accessed indexes on high performance storage while storing the large detail data on lower cost tape. By using StorHouse, exploration companies can retain multi-terabytes to petabytes of critical data readily available and still preserve budget and personnel constraints.
