About the AuthorMel Mele was the lead Systems Engineer in the recently completed STK-SAP-FileTek near-line integration at the Entergy Corporation. He has more than 30 years' experience in the information systems industry and specializes in database consulting. At FileTek, Mel provides architectural leadership to the sales and implementation teams, works closely with customers to define requirements, and designs and conducts product trials. Before joining FileTek, he was a pre-sales consultant with NCR/Teradata and earlier was a technical manager with BellSouth. Mel holds a B.S. degree from the University of New Orleans.
