FileTek's StorHouse/BI Software Solution Achieves
SAP Certification for Integration with SAP NetWeaver® 7.0 - StorHouse/BI Nearline Storage System Facilitates Enhanced Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) for SAP NetWeaver BI Customers

Rockville, MD (October 16, 2007) - FileTek, Inc., a premier provider of enterprise-class data access and information management software, today announced that StorHouse/BI 2.1, FileTek's nearline storage management software solution, has achieved "Certified for SAP NetWeaver®" status for its integration with the SAP NetWeaver 7.0 platform. FileTek's StorHouse/BI delivers enterprise-class storage management and direct row-level access of both nearline and online data in a single software solution.

StorHouse/BI has been certified for integration with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 via the SAP integration scenario NW-BI-NLS - Nearline Storage - SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Business Intelligence. The certification confirms that StorHouse/BI complies with the stringent SAP integration standards and connects easily to the SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI) component. StorHouse/BI provides a cost-effective, tightly integrated, nearline storage solution for less frequently accessed but still valuable data maintained in SAP NetWeaver BI. Specifically, the certification process verified that StorHouse/BI can successfully archive data for given InfoProviders such as InfoCubes and DataStore Objects; start, schedule, and monitor the data archiving process; load nearline storage partitions; remove data from SAP NetWeaver BI; and provide transparent access to archived data.

StorHouse/BI leverages the many benefits of FileTek's flagship StorHouse® storage and relational database management software to provide automated storage administration and direct, row-level, SQL access to aged SAP NetWeaver BI data on low-cost SATA disks and alternative greener storage such as tape and Massive Arrays of Idle Disks (MAID), which allow organizations to reduce their carbon footprint. These capabilities enable enterprises to enhance ILM processes by closely aligning the cost of storage with the value of data throughout its useful lifecycle.
