COPAN Systems and FileTek Partner to Deliver Archive Management Solutions - Innovative MAID-based disk storage provider and 20-year veteran in large archive management fill the gap between disk and tape for government and large Fortune 500 enterprises

Longmont, CO - October 13, 2004 - COPAN Systems, provider of the leading disk-based alternative
to tape for long-term data storage, and FileTek, a data access and management software company, today announced the formation of a strategic partnership to deliver an archive data management solution for structured and unstructured data. Specifically engineered for government and Fortune 500 companies worldwide, the combined solution consists of FileTek's StorHouse® data and access management software and COPAN Systems' Revolution 200T disk-based storage.

By integrating COPAN Systems' Revolution 200T Massive Array of Idle Disks (MAID) technology with StorHouse, FileTek re-defines the optimal cost/performance storage architecture. The Revolution 200T closes the access gap between disk and tape for data availability, enabling FileTek's StorHouse data and access management system to provide the performance and reliability of RAID at the cost and scale of tape.
