FileTek's Cetera Storage Services Earns SunTone[sm] Certification -Company's Cetera Storage Service Product Passes SunTone Program's Rigorous Assessment

Rockville, MD (November 28, 2001) - FileTek, Inc., a data storage and access systems provider, today announced that the company's Cetera™ enterprise-based digital storage service has been SunTone[sm] certified. This designation was awarded after a meticulous assessment concerning Cetera's infrastructure, processes, security, and disaster recovery measures. Cetera is based upon FileTek's award-winning StorHouse® technology.

The SunTone Certification and Branding Program, led by Sun Microsystems, Inc., strives to ensure round-the-clock service and reliability for businesses using web-enabled solutions. With the SunTone-certified seal of approval, Cetera meets these pre-defined high standards for providing quality service.
