Lewis S. Frauenfelder

Board Member

Mr. Frauenfelder has served as a member of FileTek's board of directors since March 1993. He has over 30 years’ experience in the data storage industry. Currently he is also the Chairman of the Board of Rebit, Inc., a data backup company.

Mr. Frauenfelder was the founder, President and Chief Operating Executive Officer of the highly successful Benchmark Tape Systems Corporation, a magnetic tape storage company, from April 1998 to January 2003. Mr. Frauenfelder served as President and CEO of DataSonix from March 1995 to May 1996. Prior to DataSonix, he was President and CEO of Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. from 1990 through March 1995.

Formerly, he was President and CEO of Intellistor, a company he founded in 1983. Before founding Intellistor, he was Vice President of Engineering at Storage Technology Corporation, and prior to that, he spent ten years at IBM in design and management positions for data storage products.

Mr. Frauenfelder holds Bachelors and Masters degrees of Science in Electrical Engineering.
