John G. Burgess

Co-Founder and Vice President of Technology

Mr. Burgess is responsible for advanced technology assessment at FileTek. He has been with the company since its inception in May 1984. Prior to joining FileTek, Mr. Burgess was Vice President of Development for Centennial Computer Corporation and Vice President of Development for Tesdata Systems Corporation, a performance management company.

He has also held various technical management positions at Control Data Corporation. Mr. Burgess has over 40 years’ experience in the computer industry. He holds a BSEE degree from Virginia Tech.
